About UsWe are a family owned company.
We have three chinchillas, one mini-lop rabbit, and one lionhead rabbit. We started this shop because of them! My husband, Mike, is always making new ledges and new products for our animals to make sure they have safe and fun things to play with to give them the best life possible! Because we love our pets so much, we wanted to share these products with YOUR furry friends as well! These products are perfect for chinchillas, rabbits, ferrets, degus, hamsters, gerbils, birds, and other small animals. We hope your furry friends enjoy these products as much as ours do! :) |
Our Family
Zorro is 16 years old! Mike adopted him when he was only three months old and has loved him ever since :) He is the sweetest chinchilla and loves giving mom kisses. His favorite toys are the Rose Hat hanging toy and the Apple Twiglets!

Xander is 6 years old! Megan and Mike adopted him in 2018 :) He is the craziest chinchilla - constantly bouncing off the walls of his cage!! His favorite toys are the Appleasses and the Cholla Wood!

Yoshiro is 9 years old! Megan and Mike adopted him in 2020 from a local animal shelter. He's definitely had the biggest adjustment, but he seems to appreciate his forever home with us! He has become a real mama's boy and LOVES a good neck-scratch :) His favorite toys are the Coconut Husks and Pear Sticks!

Asher is a 3 year old mini-lop rabbit! Mike adopted him as a gift for Megan in December 2020 :) He has grown to be such a sweet bunny! He loves running around and hopping up on the couch with us :) He constantly eats hay but when he decides to have a treat, he loves the Appleasses Treats!

Coco is a 3 year old Lionhead & Mini-Rex mix! Megan and Mike adopted her from a shelter in 2021 after her and 8 other bunnies had been found abandoned in a local park. Since her adjustment, her favorite things to do are run around, kick to the side, and nudge everything and anything she can with her forehead :) She has become a real sweetheart and loves being groomed. So far, her favorite treats are the Apple Sticks and Large Vine Balls!

Megan & Mike love animals! They got married in 2019, with Megan's dogs acting as maid-of-honor and ring-bearer. They adopted 4 out of their 5 pets together, while Zorro had been with Mike for roughly 8 years prior. They wanted to create a shop that had only the highest quality and safest products for their pets and created Furry Friends Approved in April 2020.
Mike makes all ledges, perches, and bridges by hand. He loves crafting different designs (such as the Toy Hook addition) to give each pet more entertainment! He enjoys making these products for their animals and hopes your furry friends love them too! Megan designs and manages all the accounts, keeping everyone updated on new products and answering any customer questions. She also does all the photography for the products, highlighting their own pets in each listing :) |

Holly designs and sews all the fleece cage liners and ramp covers, providing your pet with a comfortable replacement to bedding! She is a dog lover, having rescued Ringo in 2015 and loved him for the 6 years they were together.
