"I thought sticks were just sticks, until I got these for my 2 chinchillas. Like the other reviews say, these are definitely way thicker than most that I've bought. Now obviously I'm human and I can't judge the quality myself... but what really surprised me is that one of my chinchillas who is particularly picky really loved these. He normally chews maybe a quarter or a half of a stick like this, and then throws it away and doesn't touch it again. "AMZAZING! I have been buying the Kaytee apple sticks from Chewy and I didnt know what to expect. In the picture it shows the Kaytee apple sticks(right) compared to Furry Friends Approved(left). I ordered a pound and they fill a quart sized ziploc bag in this bag approx 80! They are different diameters but all same length. The smallest diameter is still thick compared to Kaytee. She’s very picky, I had some other apple sticks that we’ve had for a while and she stopped taking them, probably because they weren’t fresh and she didn’t like that. But she took this one even tho it’s her sleepy time, so they must be nice and fresh! I like that I can buy small quantities, so I can keep buying them fresh. It’s also hard to find acceptable chews for chinchillas because they have more restrictions than other small pets.
